About Us

Salt Wellness Sanctuary is a locally owned and operated business in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

With a passion to help others, Cathy opened this centre in 2015 knowing that she could make a difference to other people’s lives. In 2025 Mandy took over ownership and continues to provide a wellbeing centre to our community.  With a strong believe in making a difference in everyone visiting the Sanctuary.

Providing 3 salt rooms to provide relief for many respiratory, skin and lifestyle conditions it is very rewarding to be able to help all ages from babies through to the elderly. We provide a room that is wheelchair accessible along with the option of having dual massage services in our dual salt room.

Guided meditation sessions have proven to be very popular in the salt rooms, and we also have other visiting specialists providing therapies such as Reiki, Energy Healing, Therapeutic Massage, hypnotherapy and seated yoga.

We source Australian made products to complement our therapy. These products align with our ethics and values, are natural, cruelty free and many are vegan. Our range includes salt lamps, crystal lamps and products, bath and body products, wellness teas, aromatherapy products and therapeutic creams and oils. Gift packs and gift vouchers are also available.
